The 13th is a salary normally paid in the month of December, which corresponds to the sum of one twelfth of each salary received throughout the year. In this way, the individual receives another salary in fact, since the final value will be equal to the payment for one month. This benefit became known as the 13th and is provided for by Law 4,090.
