Seduc RS announces competition with 1,500 vacancies for teachers

Last Tuesday, the 14th, the Secretary of Education (Seduc) of Rio Grande do Sul announced the public tender notice for teachers. There will be 1,500 vacancies offered, distributed among the 30 CREs (Regional Education Coordination) for the state education network.

The public notice has been launched, and registration will begin this Wednesday, the 15th, and will continue to accept candidates until April 17th. The publication of the notice relies on what is prescribed in State Law n. 56,229/2021, with openings for indigenous, black, transgender and disabled teachers.

Evidences

The event will be held through the Aocp Institute, with the objective test possibly scheduled for June 25th. The 60 objective questions vary between Portuguese language, education legislation, pedagogical knowledge and teacher qualification.

After the first test, the candidate will proceed to the eliminatory and classification stage, as directed in the public notice. The stage will consist of an essay and proof of professional qualifications. In addition to these, there is provision for a test for teachers who have expressed their intention to work in indigenous communities.

Middle and higher education, with a salary expectation between R$ 2,019.27 and R$ 2,120.17 and with a workload of 20 hours per week, the registration fee was announced at the amount of R$ 110.
