Recently, we received information about the regulation of the Truck Driver Assistance through a note that was published in the Official Gazette of the Union. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTP) and the Ministry of Infrastructure (MINFRA) ended up naming the good truck driver. The initial idea is that an investment of BRL 5.4 billion be made to pay this aid to transporters.

BEm Caminhoneiro was mentioned in the PEC which released R$ 41.2 billion for public spending in the form of social benefits. The project ended up confirming the creation of aid for truck drivers and taxi drivers, as well as additional amounts in the Brazil Aid and gas vouchers. All benefits that were changed in this second semester will last until December of this year.
President Jair Bolsonaro has always managed to maintain an interesting relationship with truck drivers, who ended up declaring their full support for him during the 2018 elections. However, this ended up wearing out over time because the freight table was not being updated and the value of diesel was getting higher and higher.
With the aim of reducing the cost of vehicle supplies, Bolsonaro then managed to guarantee the release of the Truck Driver Assistance, which was initially commented on a value of BRL 400,00. However, soon after receiving many criticisms, the value rose to R$ 1,000.00.
It is important to point out that, even though BEm Caminhoneiro received its release based on this information on cost reduction with fuel, it is not necessarily mandatory to use it for this purpose, since the beneficiary can use the value to reduce any another expense.

• 1st installment: August 9;
• 2nd installment: August 9;
• 3rd installment: September 24th;
• 4th installment: October 22nd;
• 5th installment: November 26th;
• 6th installment: December 17th.
