5 amazing battery saving tips

Lower screen brightness

This is the easiest and fastest tip you can do to save your cell phone battery. Brightness when it's too high becomes one of the main contributors to your energy spending being greater. Therefore, follow the guidance below:

  • Open your smartphone screen and slide your finger to open quick settings;
  • Then turn it down in the controller in the screen brightness settings option.

battery saving mode

Many devices have a power saving mode that automatically conserves your phone's power. If you need to save money, always activate this option and let the device itself use automatic features such as battery saving.

Airplane mode when there is no signal or it is weak

When your carrier's signal is weak or unavailable, the device consumes more power because of searching for a network signal, whether talking or connecting to the internet. If this sometimes happens, just turn on airplane mode to save battery power and return to normal settings when you're in a high-signal area.

However, if the lack of network is common, it would be interesting to consider changing plans and migrating to another mobile operator, seeking to avoid this problem.

Avoid placing your cell phone near a heat source

Excess heat can end up slowing down your smartphone, making some processes take longer to complete and consume more battery power. Staying away from hot environments or objects that emit heat is a way to save your cell phone's battery and ensure more time of use.

Remove auto-update from your apps

Automatically syncing Google accounts, as well as apps like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, and Instagram, increases power consumption. In addition, they also end up taking up more space on your data plan.

That way, configure your device and apps for manual updates (done whenever you want), and only do this when necessary and with a full battery (preferably when you are at home or near a outlet).
