Unlike animals, the human brain is able to look at images and objects differently, and each distinct perception can bring new information, depending on the angle you look at it. In psychoanalysis, for example, optical illusions can indicate the way humans perceive events.
The above image, sketched in the year 1880, was originally made for children as a puzzle with the question: "Where is my master?". However, today it is a famous optical illusion that shows a bear with a man's face hidden inside it. It's fun, but the trickiest part is finding the man's face in just 20 seconds. For that reason, this optical illusion defies the brain and has already left several adults with their eyebrows on their feet as they try to figure out where the boy's face is among the animal's fur.
At first glance, it may seem difficult to find the man's face. But by tilting the head to the right, the viewer might be able to find it. The bear's master can be identified facing the base of the animal's neck, with the top of the head visible just below the bear's left ear.
It is for this reason that psychoanalysis claims that optical illusions indicate how people see events. Specific combinations of light, color and patterns have the power to trick the brain into perceiving something that is not initially there. But and you? Were you able to find the master's face within 20 seconds?
