Sahar Farmanfarmaian is an Iranian princess from the Persian Qajar dynasty, responsible for ruling the country between the years 1785 and 1925. Surprisingly, this princess from a place so far from Brazil found herself in a place that few, including Brazilians, know about. According to her, she got to know the region when she arrived at the maternity hospital.
In this case, Sahar says that she was in New York in 2006, when she was pregnant, and felt lost in that big city. So her desire was to connect directly with nature, where she could welcome her child. Therefore, she began a search process for her next home.
In this way, she says that it was the baby that took her to Alto Paraíso, as if it were actually her choice. Since then, she returns to paradise in Goiás to spend long periods of time and escape the hustle and bustle of big cities like New York and Paris. This is a beautiful Persian/Indian inspired home, with plants that Sahar has grown herself.
In this case, Alto Paraíso is a settlement located in Chapada dos Veadeiros, within the Goiás National Park. It is a refuge from the big cities for those who seek contact with nature in an area that has around 700 waterfalls. There, it is possible to find communities that live according to ecological principles.
Due to all this natural energy, Alto Paraíso has become a place of pilgrimage for people seeking spiritual cures. In this way, there are several projects that deal with the recovery of people who suffer from addictions or who simply seek tranquility for life. Certainly, being close to nature helps a lot!
