Possession of guns in Brazil

Be at least 25 years old, except for the positions defined in article 28 of Law 10.826/03;
A recent 3×4 photo;
Original and copy of RG and CPF;
Proof of residence (water, electricity, telephone). If the property is in the name of the spouse or partner, present a Marriage or Stable Communion Certificate. If the interested party is not the holder of the proof of residence, nor his/her spouse or partner, he/she must present a DECLARATION with a notarized signature of the account holder or the owner of the property, and the signature of the holder of the proof of residence will dispense with the recognition of firm;
Presentation of document proving lawful occupation;
Written statement of the actual need, stating facts and circumstances that justify the request;
Declaration of not responding to a police inquiry or criminal proceedings (see example);
Proof of suitability, with the presentation of negative certificates of criminal record provided by Federal, State, Military and Electoral Justice, which may be provided by means electronics;
Bank proof of payment of the fee due for the issuance of the document through the Union Collection Guide - GRU;
Proof of psychological aptitude for handling a firearm, carried out within a period not exceeding 01 year, which must be certified by a psychologist accredited by the Federal Police;
Proof of technical capacity for handling a firearm, carried out within a period not exceeding 01 year, which must be certified by a weapons and shooting instructor accredited by the Federal Police.
