Created in 1960, the reclusion aid aims to financially support the dependents of people insured by the INSS who were arrested, especially when this is the main person responsible for the income of the family. In this sense, it is important to know the reclusion aid and know how to request it.

This aid is paid to dependents, not to the insured person. In this sense, only those people who are financially dependent on the insured person who was arrested receive this benefit. For this, the INSS divides beneficiaries into three groups, with group 1 being a priority over the second, and so on.
The first group concerns spouses, partners in a stable union, children up to 21 years of age or who are not accepted or have a disability. In the case of this group, there is an exception where dependency is assumed, i.e. you don't need to prove it.
The second group are the parents, and in this case it is necessary to prove that there is an economic dependency. The same occurs with the third group, which refers to siblings, as long as they are not emancipated, are up to 21 years old, are disabled or have a serious disability.
