The NFG (Nota Fiscal Gaúcha) was created in 2012 by the government of Rio Grande do Sul as a program to encourage fiscal citizenship. The objective is to encourage the population to request the inclusion of the CPF in the note tax on your purchases.
In addition, the NFG seeks to promote participation in sweepstakes and fundraising for social entities, using excess cash in the tills.

If you live in Rio Grande do Sul, you can register on the Nota Fiscal Gaúcha website to enjoy the benefits of this initiative. With this, you will be guaranteeing participation in raffles and supporting institutions that need donations, all at the same time.
To do so, just download the application or register directly on the NFG website, which brings together the most important information.
The registration has no cost and shows the updates of the amounts redeemed in the coupons. This is an incentive for establishments to comply with tax rules.
The government of Rio Grande do Sul announced the holding of 1,111 draws linked to the invoice, offering prizes in money. Every month, citizens registered in the program can purchase electronic tickets to compete in the drawings.
All citizens of the state have chances to win significant amounts. This announcement was made on June 29 and, to date, the platform already has 3 million subscribers.
In the last draw, prizes ranging from R$ 500 to R$ 500 thousand were distributed. This diversity of values increases the chances of winning and further encourages requesting vouchers from local businesses.
You can be one of the lucky ones and still contribute to the state fighting tax evasion. With this, the NFG can be seen as an instrument of awareness of tax citizenship.
But, attention: prize winners have a period of 90 days to redeem. Stay tuned!
