Netflix signs partnership and will sponsor reality show 'A Fazenda'

The most used and commented social network in 2022, Tiktok, chose to suspend its sponsorship of the reality show A Fazenda, which has already received an investment of approximately R$ 100 million from the company. However, Record soon found a new millionaire sponsorship, this time from the largest streaming platform in the world: Netflix.

Netflix-Record partnership: how will the sponsorship take place?

Signed last Tuesday, the 30th, the millionaire contract between the streaming platform and the broadcaster responsible for producing and broadcasting the reality show led by Adriane Galisteu was signed.

What is understood is that there is a mutual interest: on the one hand, Netflix wants to recover some of its Brazilian customers, after all After all, the platform lost several subscribers with the arrival of competitors in Brazil and because of people's dissatisfaction with its plans.

On the other hand, Rede Record is interested in raising funds for the new edition that will no longer feature the high value previously given by the company TikTok, which has already disposed of approximately R$ 100 million for the program.

Other partnerships

Netflix will be the main sponsor of the program, but the story does not end there: Banco Original, Betano bookmaker and Aurora (frozen food company) will also be the official sponsors of the reality show, which premieres its 14th edition in 2022.

What is worth mentioning is that A Fazenda does not reject new sponsors! Therefore, it is possible that there will be new negotiations for interested companies until the new season begins to be broadcast.

The Farm on streaming?

So far, it has not been announced whether Netflix will show the program from Edir Macedo's station in its catalog of films and series. In addition, it is not known whether, if added, it will allow the other seasons that were sponsored by another company to be shown as well.
