A huge fire is currently destroying the famous cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris. The information is from local authorities and witnesses. Footage of the fire shows huge flames and plumes of smoke billowing from the historic building.
The fire started early Monday night (Paris time). The cause is not yet known. A large number of emergency services are responding to the incident.
