NIRE is the acronym for Business Registration Identification Number. This number is the registration of legality of a company in the Board of Trade in the state of locality.
Each company, before opening, needs to consult the State Board of Trade and fulfill some opening conditions.
Issuing a NIRE is part of the process of opening any company. It consists of eleven digits that indicate the type of company, a check digit and the federative unit of the company.
The digits can be consulted on the website or at the Board of Trade unit where the company is registered. The inquiry will be made through the National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ).
In addition to the NIRE, there are other necessary company registrations, such as the CNPJ, the business license and the State Registration.
