The text was presented by the government in December 2021, but it was necessary for the PEC of Precatories to be approved so that the payment could be extended. The PEC also became a constitutional amendment in December, when the government created a decree that extended the payment of the extraordinary benefit.
The average value of the benefit is approximately R$ 224 per family. In the month of December last year, total expenses with the Brazil Aid reached R$ 2.67 billion, according to government information. In 2022, the estimate is that the expenditure will be R$ 32.04 billion.

The program created in 2005 offers scholarships in exchange for tax exemption to educational institutions. The rule remains the same: 100% scholarship for students who have a per capita income of up to 1.5 minimum wages and a partial scholarship for those earning up to three minimum wages.
The Prouni change will start to count from July 2022 and concerns a new order of classification for the distribution of scholarships, maintaining priority for graduates of higher education public.
