Arts lesson plan (6th to 8th grade)

In this task, students listen to different types of music and paint the emotions they hear.

THEME: musical traits

YEAR: 6th to 8th grade

GOALS:

The objective is to paint according to the mood that the music conveys, the student must paint at least three different songs.

MATERIAL REQUIRED:

• Brushes of various sizes;
• Various paint colors;
• Stereo;
• CDs with different types of music;
• Blank papers.

INTRODUCTION:

Talk about how music can bring out different sensations that can be represented through art. Play different songs and start a discussion about each one's point of view regarding the feelings that the artist wanted to convey.

DEVELOPMENT:

1. Put a song to play;
2. Start the activity by asking students to brush on the paper using different colors and different sizes of brushes to express the feelings of the song;
3. Make a circle and ask each one to explain why each one makes the art they did.
