Registration for Fies begins today (7th) and runs until the 14th of this month. Applications are made online, on the program's website. In all, 100,000 vacancies will be offered in the zero interest modality and 450 thousand in the P-Fies modality.
Students who took the Enem, starting in the 2010 edition, can participate. They must have had a grade point average of 450 or greater. In addition, they cannot have zeroed the essay.

Ministry of Education releases first call for Prouni 2023
At the time of registration, you can choose up to three course options among those with available places. within the preference group, which is also chosen by the student according to their profile and interest.
Fies offers two modalities. The first is zero-interest financing for students who earn up to three minimum wages. In this modality, the student will start paying the installments respecting their income limit.
The second is the so-called P-Fies, aimed at students with a family monthly per capita income of up to five minimum wages. The modality works with resources from the Constitutional and Development funds and with resources from participating private banks.
Partial scholarship holders of the University for All Program (ProUni), that is, those who have a 50% scholarship monthly fee, will be able to participate in the Fies selection process and finance the portion of the monthly fee not covered by the handbag.
Fies offers financing to cover the cost of tuition at private higher education institutions. A question and answer session is available on the program page to answer questions, including how the financing payment will be made, what fees will be charged and the benefits granted.
The result of the pre-selection referring to the selection process for the first half of 2019 for the Fies and P-Fies modality will be announced on February 25th.
Candidates pre-selected in the Fies modality must access FiesSeleção and complete the registration for contracting the financing in the system, from February 26 to March 7. The pre-selection of waiting list participants will be from February 27th to April 10th.
