You must take a COVID-19 test by the second day after your arrival. All Brazilians arriving in the country must complete the passenger location form. You do not need to be quarantined unless your test result is positive.
According to the recommendation, the following categories of people are allowed to travel to the EU under certain conditions: vaccinated persons, essential travelers, and non-essential travelers from countries on the list HUH.
The EU COVID Digital Certificate facilitates the safe and free movement of citizens within the EU and allows non-European travelers to safely visit the bloc and the continent.
Entry is only possible for fully vaccinated persons. The traveler must have received the last dose at least 14 days before the travel date. For people not yet vaccinated, entry is only possible in exceptional cases and subject to their urgent need.
Fully vaccinated travelers will be able to enter Switzerland without any quarantine and pre-testing measures. They must have received vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or one of the vaccines included in the WHO Emergency Use List.
This includes Pfizer BioNTech, Sinopharm and Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccines. The “EU COVID Vaccination Digital Certificate” is also recognized in Switzerland. You can therefore enter Switzerland with the certificate.
