Read:
Long ago there lived a man who had a different appearance. He had yellow eyes, crooked teeth and strong curly orange hair. People in the village thought he was weird and were mean to him, so – obviously – he rarely smiled. And because he never smiled, they thought he was evil.
However, the man was really a very good soul. He was kind and good and always ready to help those in need.
One day, a little princess disappeared. All the villagers accused the man of kidnapping her. However, of course, he hadn't done any of that. He was actually quite worried about her and spent days and nights looking for her. Finally, he found her sleeping in a meadow. Gently, he woke her up and told her how worried everyone was about her.
The little princess had never seen a kinder soul! She made wreaths of roses and placed them on her new friend and told all the villagers that she found out what a kind and gentle man he was!
