Free courses open more than 150,000 vacancies for students from the state network

Students from the state network of Paraná have the opportunity to participate in two education programs with programming, introduction to administration and career courses. There are 150,000 vacancies through the Edutech program, of the State Department of Education and Sport (Seed), in the area of ​​programming, games and animation. Enrollment is open to elementary and high school students.

As for introductory courses to administration and careers, there are 1,600 vacancies, offered by Associação Gente de Bem, from Curitiba. The partnership made with the company New Holland offers an online course for high school students from the state network.

Edutech Program

Registration for the 150,000 places in the programming, games and animation courses are open until March 12th, carried out through the seed website. Classes start on March 22nd and run until the end of the 2021 school year. The courses are completely online and taught by tutors, responsible for each class.

According to Seed do Paraná, courses are divided according to classes. Check out the breakdown below:

  • 6th and 7th grade: Games and animations – Level 1;
  • 8th and 9th grade: Games and animations – Level 2;
  • 1st year: Front-end programming with HTML and CSS;
  • 2nd year: Data science or JavaScript-based mobile development;
  • 3rd year: Programming in Java or programming in Python.

Good People Association

The introduction to administration and career courses, aimed at high school students, are open for enrollment until March 6th. To participate, interested parties must fill out the form available and check out more information at association website.

Online classes will be taught by psychologists specializing in human resources, as well as New Holland professionals. The program organizers explain that the first stage consists of training for the job market, with guidance on preparing a resume, preparing for a job interview and on how processes work selective.

In the second stage, participants will take introductory courses in business administration and personal and professional development. At the end, students will receive a certificate of completion and the possibility of winning prizes.
