Female, from Minas Gerais or Rio de Janeiro, 18 years old. This is the predominant profile among participants with a score of 1000 in the 2018 National High School Examination (Enem) essay.
The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) released an unprecedented survey with the municipality where the test was held, the age and gender of the 55 participants who obtained the highest score in the test dissertation.

The results reveal that 42 compositions grade 1000, 76% of the cases, were written by women, against 13 authored by male participants.
Seventeen of the best texts are by students aged 18. The 17-year-old students signed 11 of the 1000 essays. In the age group of 21 to 30 years are 10 of the participants with maximum grade.
Regarding origin, 33 are from the Southeast region, 14 from Minas Gerais and another 14 from Rio de Janeiro. Next comes the Northeast, with 14 of the best texts.
The municipality with the highest number of representatives among the highlights is Rio de Janeiro, with six cases, followed by Fortaleza, with four representatives.
The information was declared by the participants during the Enem 2018 registration. The survey considers the age on the test date, November 4 and 11, 2018, and the Federation Unit and the municipality where the participant took the Exam.
The theme of the Enem 2018 essay was “Manipulation of user behavior by controlling data on the Internet”. The information is from Inep.
