The scores for the National High School Examination (Enem) were released today (18) on the internet, on the Participant's Page and on the official Enem application. More than 4.1 million students had access to how much they obtained in each of the tests: languages, human sciences, natural sciences, mathematics and writing.
The Enem score is calculated using the so-called Item Response Theory (TRI), which does not previously establish a fixed value for each question. The value varies according to the percentage of hits and misses in that item.

Thus, if the question has a large number of correct answers, it will be considered easy and, for that reason, it will be worth less points. The student who hits an item with a high rate of errors, for example, will earn more points for it.
The Enem was applied on November 4 and 11, 2018. Since the 14th of November, the tests and official templates are available. Videos are also available with the statements and response options for the video test in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras).
On March 18, the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) will publish the essay mirror, that is, details of the correction of this test. This is done after the selection processes for federal programs. The correction has only a pedagogical function and it is not possible to lodge an appeal.
The score for trainers, those who haven't finished high school yet and took the test just to test their knowledge, will also be released on March 18. The information is from Agência Brasil.
