This Friday (18), more than 4.1 million students who took the National High School Examination (Enem) last year will have access to their test scores. The result will be published on the internet, on the Participant's Page, and on the official Enem application.
Participants will have access to how much they obtained in each of the tests: languages, human sciences, natural sciences, mathematics and writing. The score of the trainers, those who have not yet completed high school and who took the test just to test their knowledge, will only be released in March, 60 days after the other participants.

The Enem score is calculated using the so-called Item Response Theory (TRI), which does not previously establish a fixed value for each question. The value varies according to the percentage of correct answers and errors of the students in that item.
Thus, if the question has a large number of correct answers, it will be considered easy and, for that reason, it will be worth less points. The student who hits an item with a high rate of errors, for example, will earn more points for it.
The Enem was applied on November 4 and 11, 2018. Since the 14th of November, the tests and official templates are available. Videos with the statements and response options for the video test in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) are also available.
The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) will also disclose, on a date to be defined, the mirror of the essay, that is, details of the correction of this test. This is done after the selection processes for federal programs. The correction has only a pedagogical function and it is not possible to lodge an appeal.
With the results, students will be able to compete for vacancies in public higher education through the Unified Selection System (Sisu), the scholarships in private institutions, through the University for All Program (ProUni), and to participate in the Student Financing Fund (Faith).
The first process that will have applications open is Sisu. To participate, you must register online between January 22nd and 25th. Students can now consult the available vacancies on the program page. There are more than 235,400 vacancies distributed in 129 public universities across the country.
In addition to national programs, students can use the grades to pursue higher education in Portugal. Inep has an agreement with 37 Portuguese institutions. The list is available on the municipality's website. According to Inep, currently more than 1,200 Brazilians have used the Enem to enter these institutions. The information is from Agência Brasil.
