Through Sisu, students use the Enem score to enter public institutions. In the 2019 edition, there are more than 235,400 vacancies distributed in 129 public universities across the country.
Upon registration, you can choose up to two course options. The list of vacancies can be consulted on the program's website. The main novelty this year is that students who are selected in either of the two options will not be able to join the waiting list.

Until last year, those who were selected in the second option could still participate in the list and have the chance to be chosen in the first option.
With the result of the Enem available, the higher education analyst at Quero Bolsa, Pedro Amâncio, advises candidates to research now the cut-off marks of previous years of the course and of the institution where they want to join.
In addition, they should analyze whether they have the possibility of studying in another city, what is the cost of living and what are the possibilities of employment that this place can offer after graduation.
Once a day, the Sisu system publishes the cut-off marks for each of the available courses. This is an estimate based on the candidates registered so far. Although it is not a guarantee of a place, it is possible to use the information to guide the choice.
Registration for Sisu can be made from Tuesday (21) to Friday (25). The result will be announced on the 28th. The enrollment of those selected must be made from January 30th to February 4th.
From the 28th to the 4th of February, students who were not selected in the regular call, in any of the options, can express their interest in joining the waiting list. These students will be summoned by the educational institutions themselves from February 7th. With information from Agência Brasil.
