In this context, the Seda College Online, a benchmark in language teaching, offers free distance learning English courses. The course was set up in partnership with Ophicina de Inovação, which developed the platform www.opensenses.com.br.
The tool makes the content available by synchronizing the videos of the classes and the content translated into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), as well as the subtitles. The beginners course in Libras is aimed at students with a basic level of the language.
The material is divided into four modules and has a total duration of seven hours. Throughout the classes, the student will learn to locate, ask for directions at airports, know the language of the internet, in addition to other contexts where knowledge of English is necessary.
There are no prerequisites to participate and enrollment is made through the Seda College Online. In the first access, it is necessary to provide full name and email to then receive an email with instructions for validating the registration.
Once the procedure has been completed, the interested party only needs to access the platform’s official page, choose the option in the “Courses” tab and proceed with the registration.
