Hipster is a slang term used to describe people who have an alternative style of their own. The word comes from the English, where hip means “cool”, an expression often used in 40's, when rich white youth imitated the style of black people who listened to Jazz.
From the 2000s onwards, the word was used to describe young people aged 15 to 25, from the middle class, who have their own style and combine alternative and conceptual clothing pieces.
