As well as the preparation of commercial proposals and maintenance. And it is precisely the maintenance area that most electricians target. This is because in it professionals perform technical and administrative actions aimed at keeping electrical items in perfect working order.

In addition, the maintenance area is divided into three parts, preventive, predictive and corrective. In the first, the electrician performs inspections and actions to keep installations and equipment in good working order, avoiding possible situations of defects.

On the other hand, in predictive maintenance, equipment is planned and monitored according to its useful life. In this way, replacements are made of equipment that has a useful life close to the limit.

Finally, we have corrective maintenance, which is about repairs. That is, the professional makes repairs to equipment, devices or installations that have already presented defects. In general, it is the most common and used form.

Although the work of professionals in residences is well known, they can also work in the most diverse electrical installations. Therefore, electricians can work with machines, motors, panels, appliances and other electrical systems. Both in civil and industrial areas.

Wage

According to the salary survey on the Catho website, the average salary of an electrician in Brazil is R$ 1,788.46. However, the value is variable. Many professionals work for companies, but others prefer to work autonomously, which varies the final salary.

In addition, the location, length of service and type of service also affect the final salary of the worker. This is because it can operate both in simple installations, such as in homes, and in more complex ones, in the industrial area, for example.

Therefore, to become a professional electrician, it is necessary to take a technical course in Electricity, or in Electrotechnics. The course is offered in several professional schools around the country.
