According to the IBGE, the number of elderly people will reach 17.4% of the population, around 38.5 million, in ten years. Thus, recently, the Senate approved a bill that regularizes the profession of caregiver for the elderly, which demonstrates a great advance for the country, but also requires improvements.
With that in mind, the National Unimed Center has offered free professional courses that qualify caregivers for the elderly, offered for five years. Courses are offered in person in the cities of São Paulo, Salvador and the Federal District.
