Among the 3,222 scheduled events are exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, debates and musical performances. According to Ibram, the idea is to propose to society “a debate on the role of museums as radiating centers and, equally, receivers of practices, customs and thoughts of our culture”.
Through these events, Ibran intends to promote, publicize and value Brazilian museums; increase the visiting public; and intensify the relationship between museums and society.
