Cell phones change time again even without daylight saving time

This problem had already occurred on October 20 and it happened again this morning.

Many users complained on social networks that their cell phones changed to daylight saving time by themselves. This same problem was reported on October 20 and it happened again this morning (3).

Cellular operators reported that they have deprogrammed the automatic change of daylight saving time.

Google published an official announcement guiding its users to change automatic settings, here's how to do it:

On Android devices

• Tap the “Configure” icon;
• Tap on the “Date and time” option;
• Uncheck "Automatic date and time"
• Manually set the correct time

on iPhone

• Access the main screen and tap on the “Settings” option
• Tap on the “General” option
• Tap the “Date and Time” option
• Disable the “Automatically” clock setting option
• Manually set the correct time
