According to theory of relativity einstein, concurrency is not an absolute relationship between events. What is simultaneous in one frame of reference will not necessarily be simultaneous in another.
When we think of something concomitant, we also need to consider synchronicity. It's a concept, first introduced by the analytical psychologist Carl Jung.
He holds that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur without causal relationship but appear to be meaningfully related. Jung defined synchronicity as a “principle of union (union)”, “meaningful coincidence” and “acausal parallelism”.
Some words that can be used in place of concomitant are: Simultaneous, coincident, competitor, etc.
