The scholarship includes round-trip airline tickets, the cost of university tuition and medical insurance, as well as an allowance to cover expenses with accommodation and study routines, such as the purchase of school materials and books, or expenses with research, in the case of postgraduate students graduation.
The New Zealand government suggests that candidates take courses related to the areas of Renewable Energy, Climate Change and the Environment Environment, Food Security and Agriculture or Disaster Risk Management and Governance, in order to stimulate academic and scientific. However, other courses can also be considered.
