Osasco City Hall publishes call for tenders for Teachers

A Osasco City Hall, in São Paulo, released the announcement of the public contest to fill 724 vacancies for teachers. The opportunities, according to each specialty, are distributed as follows:

  • 400 vacancies for Adjunct Professor of Basic Education I;
  • 300 vacancies for Child Development Teacher I;
  • 24 vacancies for Adjunct Professor of Basic Education II, being distributed in the following options: Hearing Impairment (2), Mental Impairment (5), Visual Impairment (2), Artistic Education (5), Physical Education (5) and English (5).

The remuneration for the position of Adjunct Professor I is R$ 1,923.92. As for the Child Development Teacher I, it is R$ 1,931.43. Finally, the salary for Adjunct Professor II is R$ 2,455.84, and everyone has a 27-hour working day. However, those interested in the position of Adjunct Professor of Basic Education I can opt for a shorter workload, of 21 hours per week, with a remuneration of R$ 1,496.40.

In addition to salary, teachers will receive a basic food basket and transportation allowance. The hiring regime is statutory, guaranteeing employment stability to the server.

Entries will begin next Monday, the 25th, from 10:00 am, and will run until 11:59 pm on April 10th, and must be carried out on the Vunesp Foundation, which is the organizer of the competition. The registration fee for the positions of Assistant Professor I and Professor of Child Development is R$56.50, while for the position of Assistant Professor II, the amount charged is R$82.20.

Blood donors will be able to request exemption from payment of the fee, until February 26th, provided that prove at least two donations in a period of 12 months prior to enrolling in the contest.

The evaluation of candidates will be carried out through objective tests and analysis of titles. The test, consisting of multiple choice questions with 5 alternatives, will be applied on May 19. For the positions of Associate Professor I and Professor of Child Development, the test will consist of 50 questions, while for Associate Professor II, there will be 60 questions in total.

The contest will be valid for two years, counted from the date of ratification, extendable only once, for another two years, at the discretion of the Municipality of Osasco.
