Applications open for scholarships in New Zealand

O new zealand government is offering higher education scholarships to Brazilian students (undergraduate and graduate).

Registration is now open and will run until March 14. To participate in the selection, applications must be written in English. The entire application process is carried out online, and is divided into four steps:

• the student must confirm his eligibility;
• create a login to access the forms;
• register with the New Zealand scholarship application system;
• complete and submit the application before the closing date.

The scholarship includes round-trip airline tickets, the cost of university tuition and medical insurance, as well as an allowance to cover expenses with accommodation and study routines, such as the purchase of school materials and books, or expenses with research, in the case of postgraduate students graduation.

The New Zealand government suggests that candidates take courses related to the areas of Renewable Energy, Climate Change and the Environment Environment, Food Security and Agriculture or Disaster Risk Management and Governance, in order to stimulate academic and scientific. However, other courses can also be considered.
