Professor Marcus Vinícius Carvalho Rodrigues was named president of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).
The nomination was signed by the Civil House and published in the Official Gazette (DOU). The new president of Inep has participated in the transition since December 2018 and works at the Institute in assembling its team.

“We are going to improve quality, increase trust and reduce costs so that Inep consolidates its excellence in evaluation, statistics and educational studies”, he defends.
Marcus Vinícius is 63 years old, is from Ceará and has worked as an executive, organizational consultant, lecturer and professor in postgraduate courses (MBA, Masters and Doctorate).
He is also the author of 11 books on management and organizational analysis, quality and productivity, among them the best sellers "Quality of Life at Work" and "Actions for Quality".
He holds a PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ); Master in Business Administration from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); specialist (MBA) in Executive Training from Universidade dos Correios; and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
