O Ministry of Education (MEC) reported that the Unified Selection System (Sisu) will offer, in the first half of next year, 235,476 vacancies distributed in 129 public universities across the country. To compete for the selection process, candidates must register online, on the program's website, from January 22 to 25.
According to the rules of the program, to compete for the vacancy, it is necessary that the candidate has completed the exams of the 2018 National High School Examination (Enem) and obtained a score above zero in the essay. Enem individual scores will be available from January 18th.

Sisu's edict allows candidates to register for up to two vacancy options, indicating, in order of preference, the higher education institutions in which you want to enter, place of offer, course, shift and competition modality. If approved in both vacancies, the student, however, must choose one of them.
The first edition of Sisu 2019 will consist of a single regular call, and the result will be announced on January 28.
The deadline for the enrollment or academic records of the selected candidates to be carried out in the institutions to which they are called will be from January 30th to February 4th. The information is from Agência Brasil.
