The purpose of the waiter course offered by Senac Ba is to give the student notions about customer service in restaurants, bars, similar establishments and events; information about the menu, food and beverage services, organization of gastronomic spaces according to hygiene and food safety procedures.
During the course, the service offers food (in practical classes), transportation, uniforms and didactic material. After graduating, students can find work in restaurants, bars, hotels, similar establishments and even work as a freelancer in private events.
The course lasts 360 hours and will be taught on different dates, depending on the unit where it is offered. At Casa do Comércio, it will start on the 20th of August and will end on the 15th of December, always at night. In Pelourinho, the course will be given between September 10th and December 13th, in the morning.
Remembering that, in senac ba, courses in other areas are offered to the population, such as health, management, gastronomy, information technology, tourism, fashion and hospitality.
