feline smell

Felines are animals known for having very keen senses, mainly due to their powerful sense of smell. It is by identifying smells that cats rely on whether the location is suitable or dangerous, whether something is edible or no, if your guardians have been in contact with other animals, and even use smell to locate your House.

With that, we've listed some odors that bother kittens, and so they should stay out of your pet's reach.

Odors that make cats dizzy

1- Citrus odors

The citrus smell can be very good for humans, and is often used in cosmetics and cleaning products. However, this is one of the odors that repels any cat, as it is too strong for its sensitive sense of smell, leaving it irritated and stunned.

2- Pepper

Peppers also give off a strong smell, especially when pickled to prolong their flavor and smell. Cats tend to sense by smell if a food is indigestible, and so they steer clear of pepper.

3- Cinnamon and spices

Have you noticed that your cat is not as present with you in the kitchen? It must be because of the diversity of smells, especially the seasonings and spices. Cinnamon can drive your cat away from the kitchen because of the strong smell. Thus, this odor can also help to keep the neighboring cats away from your yard.

4- Cleaning products

While it's great to clean the house and leave it fragrant, the smells of certain products can bother your cat. Disinfectant, chlorine and even washing powder can slowly push your pet away and even make him irritable and moody.

happy and healthy cat

It's important to cherish your kitten's health and happiness. So always be aware of their behavior and make routine visits to the vet.

On the other hand, unfortunately many people don't like this amazing animal and may end up doing something bad. Therefore, avoid leaving your feline walking outside without your presence.
