Enrollment for the popular Clarice Lispector course runs until February 18th. There are 200 vacancies offered, and students from anywhere in Brazil can enroll, since the classes will be online. However, only people who have completed high school can apply for one of the vacancies.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, classes will take place on the Google Meet platform. As for the schedule of the course, there will be two shifts, with classes from Monday to Friday. Thus, the morning classes will have classes from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, while the evening classes will be from 7:30 pm to 10:40 pm.
First, it is necessary to fill out a form, available on the course page. It is necessary to provide some basic information, such as RG, CPF and school history. With regard to underage candidates, parents need to draw up a declaration in their own handwriting, a model of which will be available in the course.
In the form there are questions about the living conditions of the person interested in the vacancy. Then, a score will be assigned to each question in the questionnaire, with the aim of prioritizing those who live in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability. In addition, the Clarice Lispector course also has some places reserved for transsexuals and self-declared black, brown and indigenous people, according to the IBGE classification.
The selection process will have several stages. In principle, registration goes until February 18th. Subsequently, the result with the 1st call will be sent by email from March 4th to 7th. After this period there will be a 2nd call, released on March 12th.
On March 7th, an inaugural meeting will be held with the classes and, finally, from March 21st, the remaining vacancies will be announced via email. Anyway, make a note of these dates so you don't miss the opportunity to take the free online preparatory course offered by USP.
