Despite being a versatile stone, it requires specific care. This is because the marble stone is porous and very easy to get dirty, absorb liquids and aggravate stains, that is, it is very sensitive and requires special care.
To clean a piece of white marble, for example, just mix a little baking soda and water until you form a paste. Apply this mixture to the piece and let it act for about 20 minutes. Then just wipe it off with a damp cloth.
To polish marble, just mix 50g of baking soda plus a liter of water. Pour on the surface and let it act for 4 hours. Finally, after that time, use warm water to remove the mixture and dry with a cloth making circular movements.
