The elegance of marble

The use of marble pieces has been going on for over 5,000 years. It has always been present in noble and royal halls, as a symbol of opulence and versatility, and is also used to coat houses.

Currently, marble has not lost its elegance and is still widely used by people in civil construction as a way to make the environment more refined. It is widely used in sinks, floors, countertops and to finish off small details in the house.

It is available in different colors and caters to all tastes, however, its maintenance is not so simple. Specific care must be taken for each color, especially with whites.

How to clean marble?

Despite being a versatile stone, it requires specific care. This is because the marble stone is porous and very easy to get dirty, absorb liquids and aggravate stains, that is, it is very sensitive and requires special care.

To clean a piece of white marble, for example, just mix a little baking soda and water until you form a paste. Apply this mixture to the piece and let it act for about 20 minutes. Then just wipe it off with a damp cloth.

To polish marble, just mix 50g of baking soda plus a liter of water. Pour on the surface and let it act for 4 hours. Finally, after that time, use warm water to remove the mixture and dry with a cloth making circular movements.
