This update in the freight value brings an average readjustment of 8.35% and 13.19%, depending on the type of cargo transported, the number of axles and whether the transport operation is characterized as high performance.
This readjustment was approved by ANTT during the Board Meeting held on Thursday, 19.
The calculation for this purpose was based on the current methodology, which is established by ANTT Resolution No. 5,867. The analysis of the contributions received during the period of AP º 11/2022 was also considered.
What was prioritized in this change?
According to the regulatory agency's resolution, the readjustment of values prioritized marketing parameters. For example: the price of diesel (S10), the salary of drivers, the price of tires, among other points.
As mentioned above, the amount was readjusted based on the Extended Consumer Price Index (IPCA), with a base date of November 2022. And speaking of the transport of cargo stocking, the change in value was 13.19%. As for hiring only the automotive cargo vehicle in the table, the value was readjusted by 12.26%.
For road transport of high-performance capacity cargo, the value was updated by 10.08%. The hiring of a high-performance cargo vehicle underwent an 8.35% readjustment.
It is worth mentioning that ANTT has the duty to elaborate the methodology to be applied in the calculation of this table of minimum freight floors referring to the kilometer traveled. This calculation must take into account the axle loaded by different types of cargo (general, bulk, refrigerated, hazardous and neo-bulk).
The minimum road freight floor table is readjusted every six months in accordance with established legislation. Therefore, the change must occur by January 20th and July 20th of each year or when there is a fluctuation of more than 10% in the price of diesel oil.
