“The Mystery of the Clock on the Wall” opens in theaters

After the death of his parents, 10-year-old Lewis Barnavelt has to live with his uncle. In the mansion, he notices strange things, like secret passages and objects that move by themselves.

Lewis discovers that Jonathan, his uncle, is a sorcerer. So, they start a journey with the help of the mansion's neighbor, Mrs. Zimmermanem, in search of a clock that has the power to destroy all humanity and is hidden in the house.

The film, which opens on September 20, is based on the book of the same name, written by John Bellairs, and stars Cate Blanchett and Jack Black.
