To be able to delete your Netflix history is very simple, just access the website “netflix.com” through your computer or mobile web browser and log in with your account. Through the platform application, both on Android and iPhones (iOS), it is not possible to delete the history of what you watched.
So, after logging in, hover over the profile icon in the upper right corner and go to “Account”. Then go to “Profile and Parental Controls” and click on the arrow next to the profile you want to delete history.
Finally, click on “Watched” and “View” to delete an item, then click on the circle icon with a dash in the “Hide from Watched History” option. If you want to delete the entire history at once, just scroll down the page a little and select “Hide all” and confirm the deletion again.
It is important to know that removing an item from your Netflix history is not immediate. It can take up to 24 hours to complete the action and completely erase a program or the entire history.
Furthermore, you can still add an item back to the history after that, however, you will need to play the same content again for it to appear in the list of already watched. Also, items that have already been deleted cannot be added in settings.
In addition, deleting the Netflix history is not valid for all users of the account, after all, each profile has a separate history of what has already been watched. If you want to delete the history of another profile, you need to repeat the whole process, but on the other person's profile.
Finally, it is important to note that, as a security measure, Netflix does not allow you to delete the history of what has been seen in profiles in the Kids category.
