What does your sleeping position reveal about you?

According to body language experts, the sleeping position reflects our subconscious. Therefore, it says a lot about your emotions and what is happening inside you. Furthermore, the way you sleep can also reveal details about your relationship if you are sleeping with someone.

We prepared a really cool test and you will be amazed with the result. Check out the image below and identify which position most closely resembles the way you usually sleep.

Sleeping position.

Position 1: Fetal

You may be suffering from insecurity, needing stability and protection. This sleeping position works as your way of trying to comfort yourself, since the fetal position is a way to "protect yourself from the world" in moments of emotional vulnerability.

It is considered by some professionals as a regressive position, which concerns, more specifically, when there is a trauma, but you still don't know how to resolve it and end up getting tangled up fully.

Position 2: Soldier Pose

If you sleep like a soldier, that is, face up and with your arms close to your sides, it is certainly a balanced person and knows very well what his life's goals are, so he puts a lot of effort into reach them. You can be demanding, rigid, and pedantic with others, but you are especially strict with yourself.

Position 3: On the side

You are the type of person who tries to maintain balance in everything in life. It usually takes a considerable amount of time to make decisions, but once you make up your mind, you are almost never tormenting yourself with regrets or imagining how it could have been if you chose another path.

Position 4: Face down

Like the fetal position, many people also sleep on their stomachs. If you're one of them, you probably have a more reserved personality and maybe some people think you're a little closed off.

According to sleep experts, this is a type of position that is related to safety, however, for information, it is not the best option for your lower back. People who sleep on their stomachs accept a lot and complain little. In addition, this position conveys the feeling of being covered and protected, like a turtle inside its shell.

Position 5: On your side, arms out in front

You are generally open to new possibilities, despite being a very suspicious person! In general, you seek stability, tranquility and peace at work and in your personal life, but you handle sudden changes and upheaval very well.

Position 6: On your back with your arms up

You sure are a very confident person. This is also a position that some animals sleep in when they feel safe and comfortable with their owners. In short, it's a position that suggests trust, especially if you're with someone else in bed.

And who sleeps in multiple positions?

You possibly have something troubling your mind and your body is able to show it. Changing positions several times at night can be a warning of inner turmoil. After all, when you sleep well, the sheet hardly moves.
