See the top questions asked in current job interviews

The selection process of several companies usually tends not to be “traditional” and similar, since the choice of a new employee has to be accurate so that the individual can add to the team. Some managers believe that the ideal is to try to ask questions that are not so obvious, so that the candidate will not respond with “ready” and banal answers. It's much more interesting to ask a question about something unexpected. See what questions you can expect in a job interview!

Believe it or not, these questions can be asked during the selection process.

  1. Between chaos and clarity, where do you thrive?

This is great for you to know if the candidate will do their best work in any given scenario. Whether in a busy and turbulent work environment or a quiet and isolated environment, there needs to be results. Where, in fact, does your future employee fit in? For a creative vacancy, for example, where the environment around it tends to be more chaotic, it is not ideal to hire a person who fits more into the second option.

  1. What has been the hardest moment of his career so far?

Formulating questions in a different way is much more interesting than questioning something so obvious. If you want to know the candidate's strengths, it's nice to ask him how he handled the hardest time of his career. You will be able to analyze the person's attitudes when he was faced with challenging situations.

Did it make you stronger?

  1. Tell me about a time you stood up for diversity

When you ask a candidate a question like this, you have the opportunity to find out what impact he had when dealing with a situation like this. In addition, you will be able to know if he cares and defends the diversity as a whole. It will also be able to indicate which solutions seemed viable for the problematic ones.

  1. What's the kindest thing you've done in the last two weeks?

As it is an unexpected question, this is the moment you have to find out if your candidate is being sincere and if it is possible to identify this. It gives you a more realistic perception of the person who may or may not be part of your team. Remember that the response is important, because when people receive kindnesses in the place of work, they tend to reciprocate in kind.
