Japanese company imposes time restriction and reaps benefits
If two people want to share a Netflix account, they must reside in the same household or pay a fee.
People using someone else's account will be asked to create their own. accounts or to continue as a paid “extra member” if they do not.
Each additional person will cost R$ 12.90. However, depending on the flat you are in, there are restrictions on how many people you can add.
The plans that give the option of an extra subscriber are the following:
Users will have to designate a primary location for their account and logins will be verified there.
Everyone accessing the account must reside in the same household, whether they are relatives or roommates. Only one Netflix account can be used by the whole family. Devices in your home currently connected to your Netflix account will continue to have access to it.
In an earlier statement, Netflix said it will "determine whether devices are members of the same family using IP addresses, which are device IDs and account activity of devices connected to the Netflix account.”
Yes! If you are planning to be away for an extended period of time to use the platform, you will be asked to authenticate your device by entering a verification code that will allow you access for days consecutive.
