In line with Japanese tradition, Lemon-Dou is made with crushed whole lemons, infused with alcohol and a splash of sparkling water.
Lemon-Dou will arrive in Brazil in a sweetened version, called “Honey Lemon”, in a more intense option, known as “Signature Lemon”, and in the spicy version “Salty Lemon”. Each of them has alcoholic strengths of 3%, 5% and 7%, respectively.
According to Coca-Cola, all the options that will be sold in Brazil will be prepared right here, with the use of vodka and without the presence of preservatives in their composition.
Consumers will be able to taste the novelty from April, when Lemon-Duo arrives at the main supermarket chains in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Salvador and Paraná. So far, Coca-Cola has not reported when the drink will reach the rest of the country.
When invited to comment on the launch, Mariana Branco, leader of ready-to-drink alcoholics of The Coca-Cola Company stated that Lemon-Duo will come to strengthen the company's portfolio in Brazil.
"The launch of Lemon-Dou comes to further strengthen our portfolio of ready-to-drink alcoholic products", said the executive in a statement.
