Last Monday, the 8th, the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) announced the disclosure of the results of requests for exemption from the registration fee for the National High School Examination (And either) 2023. The request for exemption is intended for candidates who have low income, having the right to take the test for free.

To verify that the request for exemption from the Enem 2023 registration fee has been approved, the student must access the Participant's page on the Inep website and insert the previously registered login data. After logging in, the student will be able to view the status of the request and check whether it was approved or not.
If the request has been denied, the candidate has the option to file an appeal until Friday, the 12th, through the Participant's Page, at the same link as Inep.
For this, the candidate must access the platform and follow the guidelines to carry out the appeal process. It is important to attach documents that prove the right to the exemption, providing the necessary information for a new analysis of the request.
It is important to emphasize that only a certain group of candidates will have access to the exemption, being them members of the 3rd year of High School, students who attended high school in public schools or with a scholarship at a private institution and students enrolled in CadÚnico (Cadastro Single).
The result of the appeals will be released again on May 19th. Until next Friday, therefore, candidates must request a new analysis to take the test for free. If the appeal is denied, the applicant will have to pay the application fee.
