The first batch of payments, as in all other years, includes refunds for people with priority. They are, in general, the elderly over the age of 80, representing a significant portion of the beneficiaries. In addition, 2,464,031 seniors aged between 60 and 79 will also receive the refund.

Still within the priorities, there are 163,859 people with physical or mental disabilities, as well as those who have some serious illness, who are entitled to this benefit. The 1,052,002 teachers, who have teaching as their main source of income, also have the right, established by law, to receive the refund first.

Exclusively this year, priority will be extended to 204,020 people who do not have legal priority, but who chose to use the pre-filled statement or request a refund via Pix.

For those who did not have access to the refund in the first batch, it is essential to pay attention to the transfer dates of the other four batches. Check out!

IRPF 2023 refund will be divided into 5 lots

In order to comply with their tax obligations, the taxpayer must follow some important steps. First, it is necessary to access the Federal Revenue page, where all information related to Income Tax will be available.

The next step is to click on the “My Income Tax” option, which will allow the taxpayer to have access to all the data related to their declaration. In this section, information on refunds, payments and other issues related to Income Tax will be available.

Then, the taxpayer must select the “Consult the Refund” option. By doing so, you will have access to all relevant information regarding the status of your refund. This step is important so that the taxpayer can closely monitor the process and check when he will receive the amount due.

With the first batch being passed on May 31, the other batches are scheduled for the following dates:

  • 2nd batch: June 30;
  • 3rd batch: July 31;
  • 4th batch: August 31st;
  • 5th batch: September 29th.
