In addition to being a cheaper alternative, as we said, natural fertilization can be great for health care. That's because chemical agents can be harmful in the long run.

Understand why apply natural fertilization

Fertilization is important for the crop to grow faster and healthier, ensuring good fruit and maximizing production — even in home gardens.

By choosing to reuse the waste produced in our home, we are able to do our health a great favor.

With that in mind, to help your tomato production grow with health and strength, we have separated some inputs that can be included in your garden. Check out!

crushed egg shells

Grind the shells to a powder and use as a mulch or make a liquid fertilizer by boiling about 20 eggshells and pouring the solution at the base of the plants after it cools down.

This fertilizer is great because it is rich in calcium and ideal for preventing apical rot in tomatoes.

banana peels

They are a surprising source of phosphorus, potassium and essential trace elements for tomato growth.

Prepare a special tea by drying seven banana peels in the sun for a few days, grinding them into a fine powder and mixing with a teaspoon of Epsom salt and two liters of water, spraying over the tomato plants.

Sodium bicarbonate

In addition to working as a garden repellent, it can also be applied as a fertilizer to obtain giant tomatoes. Apply a mixture of water and baking soda to the base of the plants to encourage growth.

There are also other foods and products that can be used for fertilization of your tomato plant, for example: coffee grounds, animal feces, vinegar and other waste alternatives. Try it!
