The trajectory of one of the greatest representatives of Brazilian identity in a light and instructive way for young readers
Carmen Miranda was the most famous Brazilian in the world in her time. She conquered the four corners of the planet singing and dancing. She became one of the greatest symbols of our country. To this day, few people are as imitated as she is. And this story began more than 100 years ago!
By recounting Carmen's trajectory, the authors also outline a living panorama of Rio de Janeiro at the beginning of the 20th century. And they invite readers of all ages to get to know a little more about the artist who helped highlight Brazilian colors and musicality abroad.
With a graphic design inspired by illustrated magazines from the 1930s and 1940s, text and image are merge with song lyrics, enriching the reading experience and making this book a great gift.
