However, this has not yet started to happen in Brazil. For now, original parts can be purchased from the US official store, including buttons, circuit boards and vibration motors.
Also, as a way to raise awareness and guide consumers, Microsoft has made detailed tutorials available on YouTube, teaching the process of changing parts.

The company made it clear that the sale of these parts is intended to support users who have out-of-warranty controls.
This is because manipulation and repair require a certain level of technical skills and, in case of damage or incorrect repair, the consumer may lose the control guarantee.
Thus, Microsoft will not cover these malfunctions, reinforcing that it is necessary to send your control to a specialized technical assistance, if it is still within the coverage period.
The company also made it clear that, to carry out the repairs, users will need toolsspecific. Among those cited are TR8 and T5 Torx screwdrivers, as well as plastic tweezers and other accessories not sold by the company.
Part prices vary by controller model and are available in colors that align with the standard controller and Elite Series 2 controller design options, either black or white.
This Microsoft initiative did not come out of nowhere. It is part of the company's accessibility strategy, aiming to contribute to the Right to Repair movement.
This comes after receiving criticism from the company iFixit, and also covers other Microsoft products, such as notebooks in the Surface family.
For standard controls, prices range from $19.99 (about R$95.00) to $34.99 (about R$167). As for the Elite Series E model, prices are higher, starting at US$ 25.99 (R$ 124) and reaching up to US$ 59.99 (or R$ 287).
